4 twelves will give you more cone area, which would have more potential to get louder but theres alot of variable to put into play, like subs and power also

I'm trying to figure out 2 15s will fit in that trunk. If they can PLEASE do a build log. I have an 85 MC. All I ever saw was 4 12s sealed or 2 12s ported.

if it were me id let tommy decided what to put in there. i had that particular car, not alot of room in the trunk if u ask me. id go with 4 Hardcore 10's. if you looking to get real deep bass out of the car, dont go cheap on the subs. go with subs with an Strong Motor assembly. probally be cheaper to go with 2 15" IA DP or 15" dc LVL 4xls. something of that nature. from my experience subs with stronger motors play deeper in an smaller box, which would be golden for you with such small space. but Just Let tommy decided. he may throw a pair of his own woofers in your install.
