Default Box rebuild (I need it louder)

My current box for my 2 re srx 12's is 4 ft^3 with 2 4in pvc ports tuned to ~32Hz. I'm giving them the rated power of 300w each. It hits the lows nicely but I would like it to be a bit louder and still keep my low end response. Got any tips on how to do this?

Try tuning a box just a little bit higher. 35-36hz.

The recommended box is 3 ft^3 tuned to 35. I have been told it may be a little big. I thought about making a slot port box. Would I notice a difference between the 32Hz and the 35Hz? I really like the lows.

I've also been told the box was to big. That 38 tuning sounds kinda high if I want to keep the low end.

Not too big. I would go 5cu ft tuned to 35hz, a lot more port area and double the power.
