Default Building an efficient sub box.

How do you go about building the most efficient box for your subs? People always "guesstamate" what's the best size and tuning from past experiences. But how do you REALLY go about building the best box for your subs/car/truck?

Unless you're really lucky, you won't get the "best" box on the first try. You can learn how to make them better from the beginning but more than likely after some testing you will figure out how to make a better box or do certain things to the same box to make it better.

the way i look at it
there is
a small box
a efficient box
a flat response
you get to pick two basicly
so if its small and efficient it wont have a very flat response
if its efficient and has a flat response it will be big

Sorry, I was thinking just in general. But in my case it would be a daily. I'm thinking in the sence of getting the most out of the subs without throwing a TON of power at them.

Bigger box is what I consider efficient for daily.

you also have to keep in mind mechanical power handleing when doing a bigger box though, if you basicly just ib the sub it will not be as efficient as it could be in a proper box
