Default Air volume question

When you are calculating the volume of airspace in an enclosure do you include the airspace that is within the port or do you only claculate outside of the port?

the air in the port is not counted

{the volume of air which the port uses up is deducted from the total}

I am well aware, and I am quite good at math, which is why when the program didn't work for me I resorted to pencil and paper, haha. But, hey if there's a tool to make the job easier, why not use it?
