Default Too little port area?

I have a 7.45 cubic foot box after displacement tuned to 32.8Hz with 3 4" aero ports. Each port is a total of 12 3/4ths in. Is this too little or should I consider eventually putting a new top on with 3 6" ports at 12.6in each? Box is for 4 10" l7's

Its not very much port area for a box that big. 3 6" port at 12" long in that box is going to tune it in the 40's.

I want it tuned in the low thirties. I will end up getting more aeros eventually. I just cant afford new aeros currently.

If i added one more 12 3/4ths in 4" aero It would be tuned to 35.1Hz is that too high?

More aeros/port area will raise your tuning and that would be a decent tuning for music imo if it is, infact, going to be tuned to 35Hz...

Normal slot-ports most people would say 15-16ish sq inches of port per cube. But for aeros you can go considerably lower with less of a chance for port whistle/other side effects...more like 10 sq inches per cube but depends.

okay so the port volume of each is 160 sq inches. that makes my box 7.45 after displacement of bracing and subs. Do i need to take in account for the volume of each port which would be 480 sq inches making my box now 7.17 cubes which would make my final tuning lower at 31.8hz

also each port has a total area of 185 square inches. Am i missing something that gives me 555 sq inches of port total.

I think something went wrong when you figured port area, you want to simply find the area of the circle which is each of your ports (a 4" circle). So you want to use "area=(pi(radius x radius))" to find that...so each port will be 12.566 sq inches of port area.

I was finding sq inches of a cylinder. You are saying find only the sq in of the opening? I am apparently dumb. Any answers to the other question? I have played around with tuning and the only other options is 2 6" which still would only be 56 sq in of port.
