Default 2 P2 10's behind rear seat of a Wrangler...

So a friend of mine has a Wrangler with a couple Rockford P2 10's in it. They're sealed right now in an ungodly small box. He's wanting more. I measured everything up, and I have enough space to build a recommended (by rockford specs) box sealed. I'm just over 2 cubes before displacements now. I'm thinking that I may have to build a "wall" up behind the rear seats (something he was hoping not to do) and then do external aeros so that I can get enough volume for both subs. Another option would be a single sub ported (likely with an aero) at the height he wants. Or the sealed route with 2 10's sealed in a properly sized enclosure.

So here are the options, in case you don't want to read:

1. 2 10's ported in less than ideal enclosure. The box would be taller than he wants it, and likely be hideous as no other, but this is the loudest option.
2. 1 10 ported in ideal enclosure. This would fit into his current space he's looking to give up, and would probably sound good.
3. 2 10's sealed in ideal enclosure. Not a bad option, but he wants more volume than he's getting from current sealed box.

Total size (as of right now, I might be able to talk more out of him) is:
Width: 34"
Height: 20"
Bottom depth: 10"
Top depth: 4"

Any thoughts or ideas? I'm going to talk to the guy tomorrow since this seems like a tough call...

if it is just weird shaped, you can always do fiberglass........ Otherwise would inverting the woofers help in any way?

not enough space to invert the subs... they're pretty much up against the back seat as it is now...

I wouldn't mind doing fiberglass, but it'd be more expensive, and I dunno if I'll have that kind of time to work on the Jeep...

I talked to him about it, and he said either option 2 or 3 since he wants to still be able to fold his seat down (the handle to do so is right in the middle of the rear seat).

IMO, scrap having 2 subs and do 1 in a proper ported enclosure. We have a demo set up with 2 p2 12's in a sealed box and then 2 of the same 12's in one of our ported boxes, and well a customer has never asked for the sealed box. It may just be me, but the p2's dont sound good at all in sealed. It could be good practice to do some fiberglass since you want to do a little to your car. You don't have to do the whole box in glass, just the front and back to get some airspace.
