Default MDF thickness quetion

Well I want to do a temp. built and I have a ton of extra 1/2" MDF from doing the walls of my garage. My question is would double 1/2 be as good as 3/4"? I ask cause I already know that this build is temp. and I have the 1/2 already and 3/4 has gone up to $34 a sheet around hear. The box is going to be around 18 cu. ft. (walled Metro) and I will use as much all-thread as I can for bracing.

indeed. hell, there are not many walls that are a single layer of 3/4. so, with that being said, i'd say at least 3 layers plus some kind of bracing.

it would be doubled (1") and 1 1/2 for the front. I wouldn't build that big of a box out of single half. I am half retaded on some of the stuff that I do though but not that lost.

two 1/2" sheets if done correctly won't flex as much as 3/4" or 1"

Well I am going to build the box and if I get enough air space there will be 2 IA 21s of a rd3250.1. I don't know if I am going to be able to make it fit but I am going to try. If not I might do just one untill its time to chop up the geo.

The wood is actully 5/8" just went and measured it, not 1/2. The stuff cost me $7 a sheet.
