Default Tips on baltic birch

I found some 13 ply 18mm Baltic Birch locally. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow. Can anyone tell me what I should look at when I see the birch? I want to make sure I'm getting the right stuff, and it's quality.

yeah...I think "baltic" sounds cool too. I think I'm going to name my first child Baltic

Since I don't really know the difference between regular birch and baltic birch what would be a clear indicator it's not baltic birch? And what's all this voidless talk? Is all baltic birch voidless?

It really doesnt matter if its baltic or china birch as long has you're getting the correct number of plys.

We use china birch all the time.
