Default 15" Box Design (pics)

Hey everyone, i previously had 2 8s that im going to be trading for a 15. The 15 is custom made with an Rlp motor, beefy copper coil, and a single med/single stiff spider by resko1. It has a single 2.5 ohm coil and can handke 2000rms, and according to the guy im trading with it was built for small enclosures, so he said ideal would be 3 cubes tuned to 32-35hz. So thats what i based my design off of, and i was wondering what you guys thought of it? Here is pics of the torres calculator, as well as CAD drawings on the box:

Also here are some pics of the sub:

It's a 3" coil, just single 2.5 ohms.

Also i have a question about the port length, with the L port how do i measure how long the shorter part is? Do i take into account the thickness of the other piece or no?

And it actually works out perfect so that when i change it to 3 port walls the tuning drops about 1hz, putting me right at 33 hz. Which according to ltr450racer690 should put my actual tuning around 35 hz.

Okay well i changed up the design a little, i made the box narrower so i can mount my amps on either side of the box. So i have two new ideas and i need help on which would be better. I have one design that is a smaller box with a smaller port, then i have a bigger box with a much bigger port. I am assuming the bigger port would be better, but what do you guys think?

Smaller:

Bigger:

Well heres a quick mock-up of how everything will be:

Eventually there will be matching trim pieces covering the amps, and a custom made grill to cover the sub. But anyways i am leaning towards the 2nd design, with the bigger box and port. If anyone has any other opinions please let me know soon, as i would like to start building the box tomorrow
