Question sundown nightshade enclosure questions

I figured I would make 1 thread for all of the questions I might have while designing my box.

for my first question:

How much space is needed between the bottom of the the motor and the box?

Are double baffles worth it?
do you lose the benefits of a double baffle with flush mount?

I think this might be the box I will build...

Sub up? Double baffle really helps the to from flexing and gives the 65lb sub extra support. Flush mount might be ok but personally I like to put the sub on the top baffle (of the double ) just to be sure

yes, sub up. the problem Im running into is that Im afraid that if I mount it on top of the second baffle is that the surround will hit the cover over the rear hatch space. I would just take the cover off, but I may be going to college in atlanta next year and I dont want people to see my stuff. If the double baffle didnt make too much of a difference or if flush mounting it diminishes the advantages of the double baffle, I was just going to do one.
