Default Come help me guys!

hey caco ive been kicking around a few ideas for my new box for my psi built 18'' and am having a tough time deciding on what i want exactly. i havent had much time lately to even think about the box but i finally messed around with the RE box calculator tonight and found something that might work. i came up with W-40'', height - 18'', depths both 22'', port width 5'' and port 2 length 2''. it comes up with a 32 hz tuning, 82.5 sq inches of port area, and is about 6.26 cubes total. i know this calculator isnt the most accurate and doesnt take into account sub displacement so thats why i made the box .26 cubes to big b/c i am looking for about 6 cubes total. any suggestions? i am a total noob when it comes to boxes and am looking for a little insight. thanks!

sorry..like i said..noob. power will be about 1500rms for now and sub was built to get low and still have overall decent daily sound. max d's are W- 41'', D 25'', H-18'' (want to stay below the rear seats). looking for something that will sound good for everyday listening. thanks for the help!

my calc come close to 7.5 before sub and port displacement. port being 7" wide and 16.5 tall gives you 115.5 square inches of port which is around 16 per cube. tuning id stay around 34 for daily and still get low. makeing the port ~27" deep into the box. do sub forward port to side or sub up port back can draw something up tomorrow if you would like.
