Default Two DD1508's. SPL Tuning?

I've got a rough plan for a box for my DD1508s. I have been playing them in a transmission line for a while, and it sounds great. Wide response range, gets loud, but I know it isn't the most SPL based box.

What kind of tuning should I aim for? My T-line is spot on for their FS, which is 44hz. I know their site says otherwise, I but i talked directly to kevin who got me their R&D on the subs.

I am thinking i should be around 35 or so, considering it is easier to find songs that hit hardest around that frequency range. Any input, guys?

For the record, I am pushing them with a 1500 watt amp, and the box will be (ideally) 2 cubes, one per sub.

Are you wanting to do an actual burp box or are you just wanting a louder daily driving setup? If it's the latter, I'd do something like 1.75ft^3 at 35-38hz with a 4" aeroport.
