Hey what's up everyone, I am hoping that someone can help me out with my enclosure design. I have a regular short 2002 Escalade (basically same as Tahoe) and I am trying to design an enclosure for three TC Sounds LMS-R 15"s running off of one Sundown SAZ-4500D. The subs are dual 2 OHM VCs so the amp will be seeing around 1.33 OHMs total which gives the subs at least 3500 watts total. I am basically looking for good, linear sound quality, but with nice, LOW response as opposed to just peaky SPL (I don't compete). I know that there have been hundreds of Tahoe enclosures done, so what would you all do with my setup
I have the amp rack right behind the second row seats so it is taking up some space back there. Because of this, I need to try to keep the enclosure dimensions to the standard MDF width of 49" by around 17" tall (hiding under the cargo cover) and I have 31.5" of depth left between my amp rack (in front of the enclosure) and the back cargo door. I was considering a 49" wide by 17" tall by 21.5" deep sealed enclosure but I wasn't sure if I would be getting my money's worth out of these subs not going ported. What do you all think
I listen to everything from Bass CDs and rap to country and rock and even the slowed and screwed rap.
ANY and ALL help would be SO MUCH APPRECIATED. Thank you in advance.
