Default Port noise INSANE HELP!!!

I am running the Bravox EDX from my for sale thread. The specs are for 2 cubes tuned to 32hz. The box was built by a shop in Tampa. Double baffle. The 'huffing' sound is VIOLENT in the port. I have searched online and have found a few ideas. Anyone know how to lower the noise or get rid of it altogether without having to build another box? I read in a car audio mag that you can add polyfill to slow down the airspeed in the port. Also read that you should round the edges of the port. How to do this once the box is already asssembled? The sub IS CRAZY LOUD...moves a TON of air, but damnit I hate the huffing noise.

Sounds like the box was designed wrong. If they designed it, tell them you are unhappy with it and you would like to find a way to get a proper box.

Dont be a **** and demand it but ask nicely, explain you think there might be a lack of port area or the port edges were not rounded over and see what they will do for you.

that port is way to small any professional would have never did a port like that sounds like a design eer.2" wide is the minimum I would ever go otherwise there will be terrible port noise whats the dimensions of the box.
