Default 3/4 mdf or birch?

Which would you use to build a box for 2 18s?
Box will be 12.2 cu ft tuned to 34 hz with 225 sq in of port
And what would you use for bracing?
I have my own ideas just wondering what others will say. Thanks guys

depends how much money you got. birch more expensive. (usually)

as for bracing, lots of baffles, 2x4s and fiberglass is how i brace

Im using MDF for the box im building for my 18s. Its pretty much standard. Birch has different Acoustical properties than MDF.

I have tested that amp about a bazillion times. I know what it does clean, clipped, dirty, loaded, unloaded, wired down, low voltage, good voltage, after it hot, while it's cool, on caps, on batts, where it protects, what's thermal limits are and just about anything else anyone would care to know about it.

But thanks for chiming in. Your opinion is duly noted.

Ya I know birch is a lil more doesn't really matter on cost. I can get any wood cheap. Just wondering weiss will hold up best...
I am going to fiberglass. What do you think about using like 3/4 or 1 inch allthread?

Birch! Cost a little more, but is stronger and lighter. All-thread is my bracing of choice.
