Default SPL box help

I need to build a box for 2 Rockford Fosgate punch hx2 15's. I am wanting to make the box with changeable port to lower/ higher the tune of the box. Would I make the box to Rockford specs or bigger/ smaller? Any advice would be helpfull.

Build it as big as possible and build it in until it quits getting louder, easiest way to find out.

Well I dont have a meter readily availible for use lol. Also, I really don't have time to make a bounce of boxes seeing how I will be going on vaccation then once back will only have a few days to get ready for competition.

I am going to be removing my back seat in a 06 Mitsubishi Evolution ix. Where should sub and port placement or should I build a specific type of box?

slot port box make 1/2 cubic ft over specs to keep the rise down ,as for port i would suggest aeros since you want to be able to change the tuning.ports to the drivers side should be the loudest

What type of competition is it?
Build it to be in a specific class otherwise you will end up in a more advanced class
Also what kind of power do you have for them and what ohm load?

subs forward, port on the driver side facing up or subs up and the port firing forward on the driver side? What tune should I shoot for on the box? like 45hz?

Wouldn't I benifet from either firing the subs or the port toward the rear window to get the compression from the window?

db drag event. running a t20001bd either to 1ohm but then thats alot of power for those subs lol and will have to turn it down and not go over the setting. I wish I just had one kick ass 12 that was a dual 2ohm that could handle it.

Nice. First, how did you do the port plugs and second wouldn't it be better to make the port all external or no?
