Default 4th order for 6 sa 10s

Before I get too in depth about my setup. Just curious to see what kind of space would even be necessary for 6 sa 10s to be ran in a 4th order. Let me know your suggestions. Thanks!

Probably somewhere around 15 cube, maybe as small as 10? Im not too sure have to wait for someone experienced here to shed some light

haha I'm just curious because of all the 4th orders I see being designed. Just a rough estimate would be nice. Will be using aeros if that helps

What kind of response curve are you after? IMO a ported box will probably be better if this is just a daily sort of setup, because to make the SA-10's have a somewhat flat response, the box isn't going to be very efficient(ie: the subs will easily be peaky in a BP alignment). But if you're looking for a lot of output over a narrower bandwidth, say 30-55hz, then a BP might be right up your alley in this case.

Yea I'm lookin for heavy output around 28-45ish. It will be a daily box but id like to meter decent within that bandwith. I have 7k to throw at them. Any idea on enclosure size? Curious to see if I can fit it in a c pillar wall.

10 cubes is rediculous. Im willing to bet this could be done properly (fwiw in a 4th) in 5 or so. The SAs arent really 4th order woofers, and in order to comepnsate for this youll need a smaller front chamber to flatten the sponse and raise upper efficiency. If youre just concerned with low end, then this will be OK and it wont be a big deal as you wont be touching too much of the upper end.

if you really want to do it right, youd do a 6th order. Awesome efficiency, harder to build, and the power handling youre after. Based on your description and most peoples request, youd be looking for a series tuned 6th which I dont know of anyone else here who can really design one (No offense RAM if you can, havnt seen any from you.) and theyre very touchy enclosures.

Why are you looking for a BP anyway? If low end is all youre concerned about, a vented would be much simpler and easy to shape the low end response you want. If youre really striving for efficiency, then maybe you could do a bp if youre in for the work.

All of the builds that have caught my eye usually end up being 4th orders. I want the experience of building one and hearing it for myself. If I can get high output on the lower frequencys I would be more than happy. If I tuned a ported box low would it still have the ouput like a series tuned 6th? I have 10 cubes to work with before disp. So if you think you could design something that would fit I would be interested!

Let me know if you need any other info. Thanks!
