Default Can you do 90degree bends in an aero and still get good results?

I was designing a box for my 15, [email protected] w/two 6" aeros, but I want to front mount, rather than side mount. The design of the box is only 20" external, so I'd be too close to the inside wall. I was thinking of addign some elbows from Lowes to my psp ports, and bending them, but I'm not sure if that would take away from the effectiveness of the ports.
Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks for your help

Thanks. I've never used the psp ports, so do the pvc elbows fit on them, or would I have to modify it?

They should fit. You might also think about using PVC, depending on how long your ports are.

Keep in mind that 6" 90 degree sweep elbow adds the equivalent of 15 feet of straight pipe resistance while a 6" 90 degree sharp edged elbow adds 20 feet of equivalent straight pipe resistance. This can be scaled down to port lengths for car audio.
