Default Box won't fit in door or trunk... Build it inside?

So... the size box I could make under the requirements of my subs is a bit too big. Just build the box inside the car? I am most likely doing it in the back seat, so it will be roughly 10 cubes for so gross. Its also in a focus sedan. I'm thinking remove the backs seats and just build it in the car.

BUT, what if i need to take it out for any reason? Just reverse and some muscle i guess. My windows also aren't tinted. I would worry about people trying to steal my stuff.

you could build it in 2 different parts maybe, just keep screws accessible that hold the parts together and if you ever need to take it out just unscrew?

I have a 13 cuft box that fits in my Grand Prix sedan, it was made like with half an inch leeway to get in the door though, I was lucky. I would imagine if you were mechanical-savvy maybe there would be a way to create a seal all the way around, and use the things like on a clamp of an exhaust flange where you put one side that has threads through a hole, and tighten it, just create one that can be screwed onto box and have the box in two parts.

That was probably SO confusing. I will try and find a picture of what I am talking about and get back to you.

Internet is terrible right now, and when I clicked send, apparently it went twice. Sorry.

ya no kidding if your going to put 10cubes in a focus wall it!!

im sure taylor will agree (since i learned alot from him) that to large of a box in a trunk will choke....ive had personal experience with box being to large for the trunk.

better off with having smaller box and subs and letting everything breathe nice and healthy other wise you will just rattle a lot.

Hah I'm not walling it just yet. If i can every push enough power to feed 4 of them (which i have the space for) I will. for now I'm going to try for something that only goes about 1/2 the way up off the seat area but still fires forwards.

And no, for both subs, there is no way in hell i would try to cram that in the trunk.

Sell and get 12s, it'll be louder, trust me.

Or use 1 15 in trunk, why do you need 2? You wanna have a 4Dr 2 seater?
