Building a box for my new AB XFL 15 I just picked up and right before I built it I was told the box would be too small but before that I was told it wasn't so I want some opinions.
The box is 4.8 Cu ft, (3.85 after port disp and approx 3.7 after sub disp.)
Was told for SQ use around 6-7 sq in of port per cube usually.. and for more SPL related use 12-16 sq in of port *per cube*
I ended up with 14.49 sq in of port per cube which I thought was perfect tuned @ 30.12 hrtz.
So does the XFL really need a bigger box? I've seen them sound good in as low as 2.5-3.0 and was told they should go in around 3-4 cu ft so 3.7 sounded good after the displacement.
Thanks in advance for the opinions.
