I have a build request for you. Probably similar to SPYs 10" Neo pair that you did for him a while back.
Application: Single 10" sub D2 coil placed IB in the rear deck of a CTS-V. The amplifier will be a PPI P600.2 wired at 4 Ohms bridged producing 600wrms at 14.4v. I'm not gain happy so don't over spider me that she won't wang.
Motor: TC 3HP Neo wide 4 bolt 3" coil
Need a basket assembly built for a drop in to the motor. D2 copper coil. I have no idea what basket would work.
What impedance will you need (Per voice coil)? D2
The brand, model, and quantity of amplifiers that you'll use? 1 PPI P600.2
The impedance at which you plan to run each amplifier? 4 Ohm bridged
The type of enclosure that it needs to work in? IB
The size and tuning of the enclosure that it needs to work in? Trunk?
The type of music that you'll listen to with it? Mixed, not much rap as it sucks.
Will you be competing with it, or is it a daily usage subwoofer? Daily for SQ-L
Is it for competitions only? No competitions ever
Would you like any special colors? If so, where? No need, silver is fine
Upgrades of any sort? Direct leads, carbon fiber dustcap, etc? **** It dust cap inverted if possible. Normal 8g push terminal leads. Standard stuff.
If you have a budget to keep, what is it? Ahhh, is that a trick question?
Any other special instructions or requests? No.
Where are you located? 20187
Would you like to send your subwoofer to us, or if possible, to have a rebuild kit sent to you? Basket / top assembly ready for bolt on to motor.
If you are requesting parts, would you like to purchase glue, shims, or solder to assemble them with? No.
I can post pics of the motor if you need them. But it is a standard TC 3HP Neo motor "nipple" design.
