memphis m3 15 (not mojo) basket/motor
soundstream td-15 motor/basket (the top plate is off the motor)
dc lvl 3 12" m2 motor and basket.
The top plate for the soundstream motor bolts right onto the memphis basket, but has a tiny gap between the back of the basket and the top plate. (I can probably just file the lips down - they are for holding the motor in place I believe)
Knowing this, would I be able to put the lvl 3 m2 motor on the memphis basket?
Is it hard for a beginner to align the top plate on a motor?
Which combo (assuming the t5 motor is no good) would work best? lvl 3 motor on memphis basket? (if possible)
Or just recone the memphis with stock motor?
It slammed for the 450w rms it was rated at. I believe your kit will handle 750w rms?
Side note: Should I get a d4 or d2? 130a alt, 1-2 650cca stock batteries. Not sure what amp I am going to run. Any suggestions on amps that can do 750-ish at 1 or 2 or 4 ohm would be great (whichever is cheapest)
Figured my questions would be taken seriously here and I do plan on getting some sort of recone.
Goals: 28-36hz play. Box tuned to 26-28.
