Default 18 inch basket

Is your 18 inch 12 spoke baskets the same size as any other 12 spoke 18 because I just received baskets from yall and the spiders on my zcon recones are just maybe an 8th of an inch bigger than the landing on the baskets. Scared to do the recones becuase it seems like there is not enough space for the spiders to be glued down properly. . Iv only done 10 12 and 15 inch recones befor and there has always been way more of the spider to glue down to the baskets

Yes, this will be okay. I see what you are saying now. I thought that you were saying that it was the other way around… That the spider was handing over the other side of the frame.

When you put your glue on the frame, make sure that the bead is sitting right on the inner edge of that landing (but obviously still well on top of the spider landing). A little bit will squeeze out and down but the rest will squeeze out and onto the spider. It will form a nice connection and should hold up without any problems.
