Whats up CarAudioClassifieds.org?!!?
Patrick invited me over last night. I couldn't find any reason, whatsoever, to turn that man down on his offer.
This forums looks awesome!, and I cant wait to settle in here a little bit more!! Having this forum should help me out quite a bit. Thanks for the invitation!
I've been doing this very thing for so long. Why not RIGHT?
I'm sure that a ton of people on this forum probably already know me (is that a good thing?
), but some of you guys don't. I'll give anyone who isn't already familiar with who I am, and what I do, a brief rundown about myself...
I've been into car stereo's since I was 12-13 yrs old. I started out with MTX full range boxes, holes cut into cardboard boxes for mounting subs, REAL RUBBER old wasted tire enclosures, and any other half-assed way to wire up a horrible rats nest of a system in a car, truck, or in my room!
I've learned a little since those days though!
In 2002 I moved to Las Vegas from MISSISSIPPI to help starting out a new company. That company was RE Audio/Destijl Inc. This was certainly my start. I had a lot of knowledge about car stereos at that point, but of actually manufacturing speakers?!? No way!
We were all very fresh into the scene at RE. We had to work with not-so-good parts, no money, not much experience, but just the love of the game. You guys know how it is with car stereo's!
We made it though!! RE became a hit! For 6 years we did everything we could, and used every resource known to man, to keep RE alive and thriving. There were definitely some issues between all of us there, we were together 8-16hrs a day at some times, and after a while we just didn't love it there anymore. People started leaving, selling, walking away, etc.
Most everyone know's that US Amps bought RE a couple of years ago. I'll be 100% honest here, I hated being there for every second of every day once that take-over was completed. It's fairly public info that I was one of the head honcho's at RE, I was actually the President of the company for years, until the sale of the company. Sort of sucks to have all of that hard work stripped away from you when one week later, all was fine in your little dream world.
I stayed at RE until the very last day though, even after a demotion. I was the guy who drove the forklift (the LAST item) up onto the trailer to move RE to California from Henderson, NV. That was a bad day for me.
I learned a LOT from that little situation though, and I'm not ready to go away quite so soon. I have a lot more going on than my new site. You guy's should LOVE to find out what i've been up to.
I've been doing a lot of work, researching, and speding a lot of time and money lately. I've also worked with quite a few new and old car audio companies over the past couple of years. There are many new and big things to come.
Here's a bit of helpful info about me:
What can I do?:
Speaker repair/rebuilds, recone kits, speaker parts, speaker testing, performance evaluations, t/s parameter testing, enclosure design, and a whole lot more. I can do anything you want! ...for the right price of course!
I do specialize in the repair/service of subwoofers that are to be used high excursion, high power applications.
- its surely not done yet, but for now, it does the job!
As far as speaker repair, rebuilding, recone kits, or basically anything to do with buying speaker parts or service directly from me please email me through the website at [email protected]
There is a downloadable .pdf form on the site to send with any requests. Please make sure to fill one, out if possible, when you contact me. http://www.fixmyspeaker.com/Images/S...%20Request.pdf
If you guys need anything from me personally, it's [email protected]
One of my requets is going to be that any prices given for service, or anything else for that matter, be kept private. I'm really not looking for a long list of "how much is it gunna costed??" threads all over the forum. Just send me a message and I'll get a price to you as quickly as I can. Please remember this as one of my main rules for the forum!!
Patrick, thank you once again for the warm invite! And thanks to everyone else who has already welcomed me to the forums as I typed this out!!!
Ive got a lot more in mind for this year. I hope you guys can put up with me long enough for me to show it all to you!
