Default front battery recommendations

looking to upgrade my stock battery to something that is going to do alright on a lot of aftermarket electrical and about 2600 watts worth of system that's good for cold Michigan winters as the temp with wind-chill can get down below -20 degrees. battery needs to fit in an 07 grand prix

If your car is the GXP model then you will need a group 34 size battery, and if it is just a straight Gran Prix you will need a group 85 I believe.. And as far as brand of battery goes, that really depends on the money you want to spend.. I always like buying batterys from a local shop, especially my starting battery because if there is a problem and the battery is still under warranty it's a quick fix..O'reilys has the Superstart, and Carquest has the NGT series batts..Sears also carries some good quaility batterys.. and damn I thought Missouri had some cold winters lol.. most AGM batterys were built for harsh weather conditions and abuse, but -20 that's on a whole new level lol.. I think you'll be alright though

yea, you should research things before making a noob statement lol, they make a platinum for every application, lol

there is a diehard platinum for every group size, i run 3 in my suburban, 1 under hood and 2 in rear.

better warranty then most "audio battery's" and there stronger and definitely in for the long haul. I F'ing swear bye them dude

If your car is a standard V6 its a group 34 and the platinum is $219.99 or you can get the group 34/78 which is duel terminal and makes for easier connections for your audio leads. this would be my recommendation.

I switched my XSPowers out for die hard platinum's after 1 of the xs's swelled and they wouldn't warranty it. haven't had a SINGLE problem out of the platinum's and even if i did there 4 year FREE replacement no questions.
