Default Best way to theft proof a trunk

As many of you know some of us still throw systems in the trunk which if its a older car is not always the most secure location of the car. I have a few questions that I'm sure many if not all of could benefit from.

1. What recommendations (dedicated trunk alarms, sensors and or Doo-hickeys etc) to decrease the susceptibility of a trunks lock?

2. What are some ideas or ideas of others you know about or would be willing to consider to help theft proof a trunk?

3. Does anyone know of any products that will help make a rather simple concept of a lock much much more secure?

Thanks

Somehow break your keyhole :/. That's what happened to my Corolla and I can only open it from the inside now.

You may be able to get a mercury switch that way if it's not opened with the switch disarmed the alarm could go off... Kinda like what some people do to their hoods to prevent people from quickly disconnecting power to disarm alarm.

a trunk pop is were you push a button on a remote and it pops the trunk, it can be had with many alarms

the mercury switch is a switch you add on to an alarm so if the trunk it opened at all, it will set off the alarm.

all of the above can be gotten at any car stereo shop, ebay, or even just google car alarm, or mercury switch.

I disabled the trunk pop beside my driver seat and can only use the key on the trunk.

My sub box, amp combo weights over 200lbs. It won't fit out without removing the port and barely comes out with it removed and empty.

I also have a plywood floor with L brackets attaching the box to the plywood. Drill out the philips tip on te screws, so the can't be removed (easily). I also strip out the screws mounting my amp. ....have fun trying to get my shut out!

Also if you have an alarm, mercury switch is a must.
Shaved trunk with key fob popper is best.

it usually only takes so much pressure with a prye bar in the right spot to pop a trunk lid open. Or they will punch out the lock because that aint that hard to do either
