Default Blazer Owners HELP!!!! Anyone ever seen this issue before?

Anyone ever seen this issue before?


the following vids are some of the electrical issues i have in my 2000 blazer. it does it now randomly without the radio having to be turned up. my mechanic said it may be my BCM...anyone have any clue NOTE: PLEASE EXCUSE THE LANGUAGE AND STRONG CONTENT OF THE MUSIC IN THE VIDEO...its all i had :icon_shrug:

that's impressive.

you are lucky your airbags don't go off.


my guesses;
1) your dash is losing connection and resetting
2) you are losing IGN2 or IGN3 {ignition issue}
3) "cold" solder joint on BCM which causes it to lose connection

side note; the tachometer in my Dodge Daytona used to spin when the bass hit. it was fun, your problem doesn't look like fun.

I'm guessing either #2 or #3. When the dash trips my system gets all distorted and crap.

I would say the same solder joint on BCM. Check all your wires also power wires if they are ran under your truck it could have touched something hot and is grounding out. My gauges in my s10 went nuts and spun all the way around because of it. Good luck

nice light show there...may want to start charging folks to watch it...hope you get it fixed though...not good driving at night having it do that...

where can i find the BCM and i get a crazy dim in my headlights too. when i hit the breaks or use a window

Just an oddball off the top of my head thought since it happens with your window or brakes too...could your main ground on your battery be corroded or something? It looks almost like your computer is "resetting" like when you remove/reattach a ground from your battery. Could be way off but just curious to see if something simple could be it first...

went and got everything scanned and its the bcm...how do i fix it or does it need to be replaced?
