Default Best way to clean cloth headliner?

What do you guys use to clean cloth headliners? I had to pick up a bumper cover at the junkyard the other day and putting it in my Pilot I scraped it on my headliner which left black dirt/ grease on it. What's the best way to clean this without leaving a big spot there?

you have to be careful cleaning it. there not easy to clean. you can destroy it pretty easily. dont scrub it with a brush.

I would think some of that foaming carpet cleaner would work. Don't scrub too hard, though. You don't want to rip/ tear it -especially when wet.

I'm worried about using a cleaner because it might discolor the headliner. I figured maybe someone worked at a detail shop or something. What do you think about a solution of soft soap and water with a tooth brush?

Carpet cleaner won't discolor it.

Carpet cleaner and a cotton towel will work. You want to use a cloth of some kind so it 'draws' the stains out.

Be careful not to get it too wet. I hear it will destroy the glue if it gets too wet.

We used some awesome shit at the shop but I can't think of the name. Plus you have to buy it buy the gallon.
Try using a magic eraser. Test it near the edge gor color safe. Then clen the spot. Should work just fine. Those things are truely magic!

I think it's probably because that sub is not moving enough to allow it to cool.. Id turn the gain up a bit so it moves more for cooling reasons.. That's why it's hard on subs to be underpowered..
