I recently changed my rear diff from a 2.73 to a 4.10, now I need to correct the speedo reading. The vehicle is a 87 Caprice wagon with a Olds 350/TH200-4R combo. I figured out how to remove the speedo drive gear that is attached to the governor, but can't seem to get the speedometer housing out to remove the driven gear. It seems to be just a pressure fit with an o-ring that holds it in, but that puppy is tight. Anyone else done this or know of any tricks?
