There customer service is a joke, I've tried contacting them over 5 dozen time. They ether put me on hold for over 15 min then disconnect me or pick up the phone then lay it on the table.
They do don't warrantee any of there Products. I bought a XM car kit from radio shack and didn't get to install it till a month later And the dc/cigarette plug did not work. I contacted XM for warranty replacement and they informed me that they will not warrantee it because I did not purchase it from them.
I said I'll just purchase a replacement then. I gave them my card and shipping info then she said the total will be $29.xx. I told her to wait, $30 for a replacement? So I told her to cancel the order, because the kit cost $40.
The lady replays its to late, you have to call back Monday and cancel it. I call that Monday "took over 45min to get someone on the line" the guy I talk to said only way to get the refund is to wait till I get the item And ship it back at my cost and they will refund me in full and return shipping I paid.
The item showed up and they ended up shipping me a FM transmitter. I called XM told them they ship the wrong item and I want a refund. They gave me the RMA number and I ship it back.
They received the item and refund my card the next day $13.xx. I called XM and the same thing. Put on hold for over 15 min then disconnect over a dozen times. Then got a women and she said that there was a restocking and shipping fee. And I told her no you guys F up I want a full refund and she put me on hold and what do you know I get disconnected again.
I am done with them, I am going to my bank and filing fraud and a scam report with the sheriff.
They are lucky that they are not local or I'd be there coming unglued!!
