Exclamation Need help asap!!!!

I'm having trouble taking my stock alt off of my 97 grand Cherokee. Does anyone know were I can find a diagram or something cause it's pissing me off.

Google says to getthe belt off to turn the bolt on the pulley clockwise until the belt loosens well I'm doing that an it's not getting any looser.

Cut the belt and get a new one? Might need a new one soon anyway.

Normally the tensioner arm will lift up, taking the pressure off. Don't just try to turn the bolt, the point is to put pressure on the bolt so you can lift that arm up at a 45 degree angle.

Try pushing a little harder. Belt does not loosen up? Try looking up something related to the issue on youtube. Good place to look when you need a visual on some things.

The tensioner bolt does not loosen. It is the way to pivot the whole assembly. You put a socket on the bolt, but it is to move the whole arm.
