most reviews are as simple as "you get what you pay for" does anyone have any personal experience with them? i mean for under 400-500 its hard to pass? i have a black 04 explorer i want to paint white. i plan on doing all my body work my self, removing the head and taillights, and bumpers and sending it to them for paint? i guess my main concern is if they do a good job? no runs no streaks? overspray? durability?
a friend of mine did something similar. He did his own body work and dropped it off at Maaco to get painted. Paint job appeared to be decent but ALL of his flaws showed through the paint and I believe a year later the paint cracked. Hopefully your experience is different

i haven't fully decided on them yet lol i just wanted to see if people had personal experiences, i have a friend who can paint but he doesn't have a paint booth yet and i don't wanna risk just using a garage
A job at Maaco will come down to the employees, especially in your circumstance. You may get someone who takes pride in their work (rarely), or you may get someone who just wants to get you the hell out of there (probably). That being said, I personally know of 3 Maaco paint jobs that are very nice, and still look great to this day. The oldest of these 3 is about 4 years old.
