Default Any Input on Bolt Pattern Adapters?

Hey guys, I havent posted on here in ages but figured this would be a good place to turn to get some good feedback. So I now am driving a 2009 Malibu and it has the bolt pattern of 5x110 for the rims... That is a VERY uncommon bolt pattern to come by! Looking for some input on adapters to make different bolt patterned rims fit my car, a few questions:

Are they safe?
What are the major cons?
Anything I should look for whne purchasing (material, name brand, specs)?

Is it worth it?

Thanks guys, hope I get some good feedback!

ive had a few sets in my day. they are safe but they put more wear on the hubs so u might have to replace your hubs more often. i bought i vehical with rims on it and when i went to put the stock rims on for winter i found out they had adapters to make the rims fit. i couldnt tell by driving it.

i guess its worth it but if it was me i would just buy rims that fit so u dont need adapters.

but around where i live 5 x 110 is a VERY COMMON bolt pattern

Thansk for the input man! Yeah idk why but if i jump on CL or something I have some serious issues trying to find that bolt pattern!
I do like the looks of those also, and the Malibu is black with alot of chroms accents so that is the flow I am looking to keep.

Adapters/spacers are geh/ghetto. Just find rims that fit.

the add width.so you may not find the wheel you want to work because of backspacing might be wrong.they add more stress on the bearings because the tire has more leverage now.
cost! some adapters can run $300+ to have them made
i run spacer's on the front to match the width of custom axle housing in back.

what others have said....
they can be useful
dangerous if cheap/no installed properly
have seeen plenty dra cars use them
better if u buy new studs, etc, but if cost is the reason then its not like u will
