Default Help with alarm

So I went to the store and did my routine of getting out and locking it and when I went to get in my CSR it wouldn't unlock. It was a 2 way security Alarm. So I called the installer company Inphase audio and they said they would come out there so like 5 minutes later I tested the alarm and it all the sudden worked. So I get in And start it and everything is fine I kindly waited for the guy from the shop to show up and he did. I shut my car off we talked about the issue and I said I would fallow him to the shop. I get In my car. Start it and my ac/heat controls didn't work. So I get there and they can't find anything wrong at all. Can anyone thing of what could be wrong?

first i'd check all your connections, generally a lock/unlock issue would be caused by a faulty constant to the brain, so depending on how your connections are made, i would look into this (generally happens a lot with t-taps).

Also, when starting with the key your ac/heat controls dont work? or is that when you remote start it? if its only when you remote start it that more than likely says one of your ignition wires coming off the brain could have a bad connection

or, the brain in general is bad.

Well a brain would be the cost of a new unit unless its under warranty, is it self installed or did you bring it somewhere? And are the controls working intermittently? Depending on how it was installed it could be likely to have a broken ignition wire in the ignition harness was or wherever the installer got to the wires. Causing the heater controls to not work properly, I would also take a check on your fuses as well to rule somethings out

this, is one of those things i would have to look at first-hand, to see how they installed it. likely, they chose to relay all your ignition circuits in an "or" setup, meaning it feeds the stock circuits to the car from the relay, and the relay is switching between factory key wiring, and battery power. i never do it like this for a couple reasons, but the important one here, is because relays wear out. that would explain some of your ignition functions not working. it also could be your factory security "seeing" an incorrect circuit function and locking out the car when you went to dis-arm it. many vehicles will do this for 5, 10, or 15min, then allow normal operation once more. that would also explain it working later.
