I think the edge looks less soccer-mom-ish than the acadia. I personally would drive an edge over an acadia, however my aunt has a fully loaded acadia and its pretty damn sweet... my aunt is also a soccer mom.

yeah I would deff be going black, It would be used for demo's and I don't want it to turn shit brown after the first show.

The Acadia Is a terrible install vehicle. It has door plugs instead of looms you can pull wire through. The battery is in between the passenger front seat and second row in the floor. To use an loc, you have to locate the factory amp and tie into speaker wires before the amp. I could go on and on. As far as just a car, it's nice.

I have tested that amp about a bazillion times. I know what it does clean, clipped, dirty, loaded, unloaded, wired down, low voltage, good voltage, after it hot, while it's cool, on caps, on batts, where it protects, what's thermal limits are and just about anything else anyone would care to know about it.

But thanks for chiming in. Your opinion is duly noted.

Personally I would look for a nice, newer BMW X3.

i had the first gen edge for a year for work and now got the second gen for work. the second gen is by far the better. i've driven the acadia a few times. if i were going to by either as a person vehicle i'd get the acadia. i just don't like the edge's driving control and performance. for a v6 it just feels like it doesn't have enough power. i have a rogue as a personal vehicle and it only has a 4 cylinder and it is more fun to drive than the edge.

I'm not to worried about that, I'd get one with out navigation and just hardwire new head unit in(I do this anyway) and drill new holes for wire as I plan to run at least 10ga to door speakers anyway. As for the batt, that is some what of a problem I'd probably just run 2 3100's hidden behind box.
