Yea ford makes no sense! They do a good thing by adding a access panel to the fuel pump so u dont have to drop the tank but then they make a simple job like replacing an alt on my Escape V6 4wd nearly impossible (alt is on the bottom of the motor between motor and firewall and ur suppose to pull the cv shaft to replace it, took me 7hrs to put my Tenney 270 in)
And u had to undo the motor mounts and tilt the motor on my dads old Expo to change the rear sparkplugs
