Default Popping sound while turning Jeep Cherokee

Just noticed this yesterday while driving.I drive a 4x4 2000 Jeep Cherokee(xj). When I turn the wheel I hear a loud popping from the front end. It does it even louder when in 4wd. I checked the front drive shaft and the u joints seem good. Tie rod ends arent loose and the axle u joints dont seem bad either. Im guessing my wheel bearings are completely shot. Still have to get it jacked up so I can get a better look at stuff. Dont have a garage and my back yard is pretty muddy right now.. Anybody got any ideas? I dont want to drive like this and risk a wheel falling off or something worse happening. lmk Thanks

It's most likely ball joints, tie rods, or a front CV, in that order.lol. Wheel bearing would be like a drone or humming noise you'd probably notice most at lower speeds.

Well, Finally got it jacked up and got it narrowed down. I checked the drivers side front first and its good. When the tires are off the ground, I can spin the passenger side front tire and I hear the grinding/popping sound. I checked for play in the tire first to see if the ball joints were shot and they are not. It does it worse when spinning the wheel and turning at the same time. Im pretty sure the wheel hub bearing is shot and possibly needs a new axle u joint.

Welp.. Just got done messing with it today since it was nice outside. I figured out exactly what is the prob. Its the passenger side axle u joint. Almost all the needle bearings in the top cap are gone. I turned the wheel to the right, got under it and gave it wiggle right at the u joint and a couple bearings fell right out. :O
