Default Help me pick a new car.

I have the red ass with the Subaru at the moment; 2012 STi for those who don't know. It's a bit of a story so I won't get into it, but suffice it to say that I really don't need a damn race car. I NEVER go to the track and it seems like a bit of a waste to use an STi as a grocery getter/ass hauler.

So... WTF do I want?

I used to have an IS300 and I really liked that car. Considering one again. But the prices are all over the place and most are high mileage. It's still at the top of the list even though it's older. I can pay cash for one of those.

I'd really like a hatch this time around though. I've been eyeing those MazdaSpeed3's. Anybody have anything negative to say about those?

I don't need a full blown race car, but something fun to drive would be nice. I need something reliable as shit. Also something with the potential to be lightly (or heavily) modded, so aftermarket support is a plus. And it gots to have some style.

Doesn't have to be brand new. Let's hear some suggestions.

Cadillac CTS-V wagon? Just throwing it out there haha. Fun to drive, reliable, easy to work on. And it's a station wagon(sorta) that can hang with ferrari's and other supercars if needed.

Too much. I've already looked at them. If I was going to spend $50k on something, it wouldn't be a Caddy. Even though it's a beast.

I know, right? An MS3 could probably run my STi down from a roll. They look fun as shit. Reliability is my only concern there, really. Sweet little hot hatch.

What's neat with the ms3, is when you hit 140 and pop it in neutral it says your getting 999mi to the gallon lol.

My buddy has one, and I envy him. Probably cause he has everything handed to.him and I pay everything outta my pocket lol.

What you looking for in options on a car? Car, truck, SUV? Decent power? Looks?

I suggest one a day off, hit up your local dealerships and test drive some rides and get a feel for them.

Man... I don't know. Lol. I'm done with AWD, honestly. I'm trolling CL right now. Saw a xcab Sonoma and thought a little truck would be cool. Acura RSX looks like fun too. It's a Honda and a hatch. Pricey though for an old ass car.

Ugh.

What about an older, 06 model is350?

They make the is300 in a hatch too. Just may take a while to find.

You can get an RSX or a civic si hatch for pretty cheap.
