Apparently they will lower your insurance by half if you drive carefully...
It also ads GPS to the car in case it's stolen.
Now I'm pretty sure that having a low-jack type anti-theft device lowers the insurance, so that might be a part of the lowered rates.
My car is slow anyway, it's a little 4 banger and I pretty much never go above the 2000-2500 RPM range since it has no torque anyway, so this sounds like a good idea.
I'm gonna call my insurance company and ask them about it.
There is also something called "iSpot" which lets you track the car. Mainly used for employers, it still sounds like a cool little gadget. I'm not sure if it's costs any extra though. There is a download link to the app on the website that I am going to download and test out. EDIT: - app requires you to enter a password upon initial launch and instructs you to contact your local "box" dealer.
