Default Anyone into bagged trucks?

I have been thinking about picking up a tacoma and bagging it, but i have no idea what i could be getting myself into. I was thinking between a 98' and an 03' tacoma, they go for cheap as hell on craigslist and will run forever with basic maintenance. BUT, the only way i will buy one is to bag it, they look dope when they lay frame, but is it pricey to do? Anyone who could help me out, please feel free to PM me or leave comments in here, i want to know! Also do you think there would be enough room for my 2 15's in it? if not then **** the whole idea.

don't go for the cheap sets. trust me, i used to run bags years ago and had nothing but problems with them. also make sure either you have someone help you that know's what they are doing, or a shop that has a really good rep do it. i had a shop do it that was supposed to be good do mine, and i had nothing but problems.

indeed. some things to look for, make sure your bags are rated for the weight/pressure that you will be running it at. mine were not. keep hoses far away from moving parts. i ran a blow off valve like what you would see on a compressor at home. that way if you do have a failure somewere and your compressor fails to shut off, you won't blow something up. check and double check your wires for your valves. the idiots that did mine reversed the front left and front right. so my side to side never worked right till i finally figured out what they did. umm. i think thats about it that i can think of.

itll be real easy for you to bag a taco...they make basic bolt in kits and if you can wire up a stereo.. you can install a bolt in kit... as far as laying frame? that takes some extensive and expensive work to the frame... but you can lay out pretty low depending on the size of wheels you run... if you buy a quality production kit you shouldnt have much for problems.. ive ran juice and air and by far when i got my air setup dialed in i ran it with no problems for a year ana half almost maintanace free... just beware of the cheapo kits
