Default Dealing with shitty body shop

Ok so I'm getting both my vehicles repainted. I took my first one to graff chevolet of bay city. They tried go if me the car back with dirt under the paint, and wet sand marks, and paint blend lines and whole car looks like swirls. I said no way do it over and they said ok. Well the second time looks even worse then the first time. Tons of dirt in paint. Chips they painted over, blend lines. Well by now I'm super pissed and tell them don't touch my ****ing car and they lost my business.

Here's the kicker. They won't give me my car back until I pay them! I said I'm not paying for this shitty work! They said they can't just let me take the car for free. So now I'm seeing what the insurance company has to say but most likely I'm going to have to get a lawyer and sue them to get my car back. Never go to graff Chevrolet bay city

So what do I do to get corporate involved? Call the store and ask to talk to corporate manager?

The sales manager is the most direct besides the owner, then Chevy's regional advisor. The sales manager tells the service managers and body shop what to do regarding big money. Other then that the service and shop department are on there own budget and group, meaning the sales manager likely doesn't know there's an issue. If you go in the sales part, the sales manager will be the only one with a big desk or only one with an office usually. Any salesmen will know where he is as well

That should never be allowed to leave the shop period and by them being a dealer based body shop they should know that. Do like Jeff said and go to the sales manager let him know you are highly dissatisfied and you want a complete respray and you will not pay until that happens. If they don't go along with that then get you a lawyer you might end up with lawyer fees but you shouldnt have to pay for paint so it should balance out

But thats the thing. I don't want them to re spray, I don't want them to touch the car anymore. I gave them 2 chances already and they messed up. They don't get a 3rd time if it's up to me. I want to take the car to different body shop that can fix it right the first time
