Default Aluminum chassis

Anybody know of any high powered drag cars using aluminum for the main chassis? I have access to as much as I need to build it but not sure if it would be strong enough to not twist with 1000-1500hp

Many people have tried likeChassis Engineering,Chassisworks, Andy Mcoy and so on but nothing piratical or safe for many passes at the track. Formula 1 cars and Bikes is
aluminum alloy formed pieces not tubing. It can be done if one was to do a ladder stule chassis.

Figured, I can make a tube chassis pretty easily with the equipment I have at work guess I could just use steel. It won't be a street car, no vin or anything, so wasn't sure if it would hold of not. Mr. 92k1500 said I should get a gnx and swap in a 2jz that sounds fun to I guess.

Can you build a go-ped frame? How much would you charge?

Aluminum would be far to weak for a tube frame car, not to mention it'd be heavier when accounting for necessary wall thickness compared to 4130.

Plus you could never run it anywhere without a cert. Lookup the 25.3-25.5 cert specs.

However, you could trade it for a tube chassis, as it should be worth mucho dinero me amigo.

Andy McCoy is not in the habit of building safe cars, lol.
