Default Any Crotch Rocket Guys?

Just wondering if there was any Crotch Rocket guys out there? Yesterday I bought myself a 2011 250R Special Edition with 5550 miles. Bought the bike to learn on the left side fairing has a couple cracks but that's ok will probably try and fix them doesn't need to be perfect.

Here she is had to order a helmet thought we had one but no luck, if I like the bike I plan to do a rear fender delete at least. Would like to see your bikes and hear any tips tricks that you may have.

Yeah price really seems to jump when going from 250's to 600's. I'm told the insurance also goes up quite a bit. The way I looked at it was you can always go bigger, but if you don't like it then there's no sense splurging on a larger bike.

I haven't owned any "crotch rockets", but I have owned a few Japanese Standard Motorcycles from the 70's and 80's. Currently, I own a 1979 Kawasaki KZ650-C3. Pretty sweet bike, with a few aftermarket mods.

That's a clean looking bike, back when I was a kid I owned a 1975 Honda 554 that I won in a raffle. However I sold it to put the money towards a snowmobile which was more useful at the time.

Very nice! My first bike was this 1980 Kawasaki KZ440 that I picked up for $700 from a lady who got bored with riding and parked in her garage. I miss this bike... I ended up wrecking it when an old lady in a Cadillac (in a hurry to get to McDonalds apparently) pulled out in front of me from the turn lane and I slammed into her passenger door, totaling the whole front end of the bike and the frame.

That's a monster of a bike! Liter bikes are awesome no doubt, but I would just be too damn tempted to do what I shouldn't do on the street and more than I can afford in traffic tickets! haha

Jeez... the technology development of bikes over the past few decades has been insane... It's absolutely beautiful! If I were to ever get an insane bike, this is what I'd get. A 1980 Kawasaki KZ1300 with a Turbo!
