Default Anyone know what these are? Pics.. Lincoln continental..

Ok there was this thing in the trunk of my 96 continental, it was a big plastic thing that you can pull down and it held the factory amp and some other junk on it. Well, i removed the big thing and the factory amp. There are two things that i do not know what they are. I was wondering if they werent for the factory JBL sound system so i could just remove them. If not, ill have to relocate them somehow. I removed that big plastic thing for box clearance.

Well, the keyless entry system in my Taurus is in my trunk. It's in a black box but the code to get in my car is on it somewhere. If you see a 5 digit run of numbers on it try them on your keypad. If it's the keyless entry box that'll unlock the door.

Edit: BTW, if you push the last two buttons at the same time it'll lock all the doors.

Thanks for responses.

The keyless entry (digits on door) numbers are on the trunk arm, so i dont think its that.

I dont think its the factory amp either, unless it has two. Ive already removed the factory JBL amp.

Doesnt sound like ill be removing these two things haha..

I actually think you are right on one being for the engine, or a computer of some sort that is needed atleast. It has the same type of connector on it that is under the hood of my 93 continental. Its got a bolt/screw holding the connector into it, so i think that its needed and i shouldnt remove it.
