Default Why you don't get big rims.

Everyone thinks we rednecks is stupid and whatnot for not likin' the "cool" stuff. But little do you know we ain't that stupid.

There is a reason behind our madness.

This proves my point.

City kid gets a pickup, puts big fancy bling bling wheels on it with his low pro mud tires and all his go fast shiney goodies.

And look at the end result.

That is a freakin sweet left rear rim there aint it?

Bites into the dirt pretty good.

There was a forum member around here a while back that put 24's on his Tundra.

Shortly after one of them blew apart and sent him rolling and flipping down the highway. Luckily he didn't have his sub box in at the time, but he didn't have the seatbelts in so he got to fly around in the truck and his butt ended up hanging out the driver side back window when it quit rolling and started sliding and ground the skin off his butt.

Just trying to keep my fellow forum goers safe.

/rant.

If he kept the stock wheels it wouldn't have blown apart and he would still have the truck.

Unless the rims were made out of plastic, there is no way this was caused by rims.
Or what wenn said, cheap rims, but a majority of people have cheap rims so I don't see how that could be it, unless you spent like $500 with tires for a set of 24s

i think we have a few cars like that at the shop with stock rims, the only ones that i haven't seen explode like that are the black steel rims.
