not a big fan of black myself. has some blemishes in the paint and rust in the hitch which leads me to believe it was used for work or hauling and not a weekend garage type thing. they buffed it, you can see the buffing compound around the 6.2L logo so the detailer wasnt very good at his job which makes me worry that it prob has paint swirls from buffing since black is notorious for it. check the rotors, see how they look. that will lend to how it was treated. its has 70k so the person had to have liked it. during test drive, see how the joints feel and struts. a 6.2 is a heavy engine and at 70k theyll show there age if it was pushed at all. check for the usual leaks, fluid colors like oil and tranny and if you want (which i recommend) check with the salesman and see if they will get you a copy of the trade in inspection sheet or "uci" as we called them. the dealer, when receiving the truck as a trade, will have a mechanic look the truck over and list all things that need attention (with "recommended" and "needed") then the dealers manager will approve whatever he feels is needed to meet either the value of the trade to allow money or to make it good enough to meet dealer standards

Are you sold on the raptor line?

I like the ecoboosts that are a little newer. Twin turbo v6, 10sp automatic. Pretty impressive truck

I drove it, you can feel the tires and they are loud, but other than that it's solid. I plan on doing full paint correction and detail. I'm in no way paying 35k 😂 I'll check the things you said to look for. It was used to pull a boat, but fresh water, and underneath is clean.

It's the only ford I'll buy. I was looking for a 2014+ sierras Denali and ran across it

Oh and I should say no later what I get, I'll be cleaning up underneath and under coating. Then doing paint correction/polish, and full interior detail and condition.

To many miles for 35k imo, I realize trucks are high but I still feel you could do better

It's about 30k more than I would ever pay for a truck, but I buy trucks to get shit done, not to look pretty.
