Default Toys for tots

Today we had a bike rally for toys for tots here in Tulsa (have one every year) and couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. It was a little wet in the morning but by the time we rolled out the sun had come out and dried up the roads. Even got up around 60*.

But I rode my bike out there today and I bet you can't guess what shirt I wore.

One guy I was talking to said he would check this site out so maybe we will get a third Tulsa guy on here.

It wasn't the greatest ride though. There was thousands of people (I think) and we went about 4-5 miles through town, then along the river for 6 miles. The ride was cool, cops would block off all the intersections for us so we wouldn't have to stop at lights, and we got to basically do what we wanted. Me and the guy beside me kept slowing down some and doing a little one gear race for the spectators. Some guys were riding wheelies and whatnot.

But the end of the ride was at a casino, and the casino serves alcohol so nobody under 21 was allowed in. They also collected the toys inside the casino.

So all the guys that brought their 4+ year old children had to either send their toys in with someone or leave their kid outside, and I happened to be walking with some of the other underage sport bike guys (the biker world is very segregated) And if I had slowed back a few people I could have walked right in, but the guys I was with looked young so the cops stopped us at the door and asked for ID.

So I had to send my stuff in with one of the older sport bikers and leave.

See if I go on a charity ride again....
But I met some cool people so I guess it wasn't a total flop. And I might have gotten TEAM CACO on tv.

that ranks high on gayest things i have heard.

that is pretty shitty it was only 21+.

they could have held the ending part in the restauraunt area.

there really arent any casino's that dont serve alcohol.

Yeah, the only people who do charitable things are people over 21, and the only people that ride bikes don't carry young children or are under 21 themselves....

There was about 30 of us that couldn't get in before I left.

Around here anyone is let into Casino's. There are arcades, buffets, restaurants, venues and all kinds of stuff. Only the gambling things are sectioned off, or on another floor.

I can't imagine why they wouldn't let under 21 y/o's in. Maybe tulsa casino's are set up diff than the Mississippi gulf coast ones are.

And they wouldn't let >21 in because they serve alcohol? Bars here are even 18 to party, 21 to drink.

I guess.

I look like I'm older than 21 so I could have walked in. It is the 17-18 year olds I was with that got me caught.
