Amsoil is good stuff. What ever you do, don't use Fram for a filter.

High mileage oil is a waste of money. You don't need anything special, just a good quality oil and filter (as long as you change it ever 3,000 miles or once a year, what ever comes first). My brothers 1999 Blazer has over 250,000 miles and going strong. We also use to have an Astro with over 300,000 miles before we got rid of it. Preventative maintenance is were its at.

My mustang gets amsoil everything. Fram filters are fine as long as you dont buy the cheap or mid grade ones. You have to fork over the high bucks. AC Delco makes one of the top ones around they are about the cheapest priced as well. I run that and your standard 3k oil in my bonneville.
