Default I gots....

2 sets of Apexcone Raptor HID kits from DDM tuning coming.

8000k 55w ballasts. I want a white light with a blue tint (close to OEM cars) and they say the 8000k 55ws look like 6000k 35w Ballasts.

Also have a high-4 Kit for my truck coming so both the high and low beams come on when I flip the brights on. Should be cool. Pics when they show up

I still have to order a set from them. What made you go with the 55w 8k over the 35w 6k?

Reviews have stated a greater light output and with a lifted truck, I have to aim my headlights low to light the ground correctly. I am hopping the 55w's greater output will help my visablity once the headlights are adjusted properly.

I hope you like them.

I ordered a set from them and it took 2 weeks to get here, then after 2 days one of the bulbs quit working.

Well I will eventually need new housing anyways so if they melt I will throw new housings in and run 35w's. IIRC they have lifetime warrenties and some bulb failures may be because people touch them without noticing.

He had the dual hi/lo feature that uses a solenoid or something to change the angle of the light bulb (I know this because I held the bulb while it was on and he changed it from low to high beam and the bulb moved. It is cool as hell to watch when you are high.

But one of them quit moving so he only has 1 high beam. They took a week but I got the return slip so I can mail em in for warranty. He just can't get the bulb adapter out of the housing to put the halogens back in.
