did you say your car gets the same gas mileage as the durango?if so get rid of that honda its a pos. i had an 02 durango with the 4.7 everyone said they were garbage mine ran fine. i have a couple family members that have durangos. another 4.7 and a 5.9rt they have owned them from day 1. not one issue. i loved my durango. well i hated it when i had my system. 2 18s 14 cubes i got 8-10mpg. i have seen the best cars take a crap. just look at it real good. as long as a car is maintained it will last.

I will speak from my personal experience. My dad owns a repair shop and a lot of durangos seem to make their way in there. He doesn't do transmission either, that's just other crap that breaks. You make your own decision, just pointing out that they need service quite often.

Also one specific problem I saw on the last one, the "chrome" in the grill was peeling off....
